Buyer's Guide

If standard machines don't fit, we'll spec what does.

Specialty vending shows up wherever the standard categories miss — Narcan at student health centers, PPE at hospital entrances, electronics at airports, uniforms at industrial sites. Most of these need either a configurable platform (Smart Shop Ambient) or a true custom build.

FAQ

Specialty vending questions.

Yes — we have an in-house engineering team and have built machines for items as varied as university lab safety supplies, hotel toiletry kits, machine-shop torque drivers, and airport-side noise-cancelling headphones. Tell us what you want to vend and where; we'll quote and ship in ~90 days.

Smart Shop Ambient is already in production at major universities for this exact use. The camera-based architecture meets state-by-state harm-reduction reporting requirements. We can connect you with operators currently running this configuration.

Smart Shop machines log every transaction with timestamp, item ID, customer ID (if known), and image evidence. Healthcare configurations also include FDA / DEA-required tamper logging and dispensing limits. We provide auditable export for any regulatory framework you need to comply with.

VC Bill Changer BC-200 is the standard pick — vault holds $1,500 in coins, accepts $1–$20 bills. For larger laundromats with multiple locations, the Bill Changer Pro adds wireless reporting so you can monitor cash levels remotely.

Smart Shop Ambient and Smart Shop ARK both integrate with major POS systems — Square, Clover, Toast, Heartland, Lightspeed, plus most campus card platforms (Blackboard, CBORD, Atrium). Custom builds we tailor per spec.
