A 4 amp, 250 volt slow blow fuse. It protects a circuit from overload while allowing the short inrush current that motors and power supplies draw at startup.
A blown fuse leaves a board, light and power supply dead. After the cause is found and fixed, a correct rated slow blow fuse restores power without nuisance blowing at startup.
