Universal – Check Spring, Water Pump (Pack of 5)
This spring loads the check valve in the water pump. It closes the valve between pump strokes so water only moves forward.
Techs replace it when the spring is weak, broken, corroded, and the pump loses prime and pushes inconsistent water. Compare the length and hook style with the original spring before installing. Check the parts the spring connects to for wear while it is out.
