This rear linkage connects the delivery bucket to its drive so the bucket moves through its full travel. It is the rear link of the bucket linkage set.
Techs replace it when the old linkage is bent, cracked, worn at the pivot holes, and the bucket hangs up, releases products early and fails to return home.
