This is the selection keypad assembly for a Seaga SM23. Customers use it to enter their selection, and techs use it to get into service mode.
Replace it when keys do not respond, stick, register the wrong number, or the face is cracked or worn through. Check the keypad connector at the control board first, since a loose or corroded plug can cause the same symptoms. Test every key in service mode after install.
